A few new links that people may be interested in. I will give a more detailed review in the "apps" section later.
- First one: If you are interested in downloading video or mp3 files to the iPad this app is very handy. If you want to download a YouTube clip for a Keynote or Explain Everything presentation ; music for a slide presentation - this app will do it. It is actually a web browser called iCabMobile. It is $1.99. A very handy app for the teacher who is doing a lot of constructing of resources on the iPad. The link is
- Second: "StoryBoard That" - a web based storyboard app that can be used on computers and tablets ( no flash needed). You can use a few version or pay for a version for your whole class. I will do a full review of it in the Student Apps section in the next few weeks.The link is ….
- Third: A new http://www.airsquirrels.com/reflector/ version of Reflector has been released. Those of you who want to mirror your iPads to a Smartboard or projector - have look at this new version. I will also do a more detailed review in the near future.
- A few new tricks from Google (for the iPad of course). Docs on the iPad now can insert tables. This is something I personally have waited for a long time. It really makes Docs on the iPad a lot more useful. The second one is Google Classroom. You can now add a second teacher. Again I have personally stayed with Edmodo because Google Classroom didn't have that feature. Now it does and I will have to revisit it.
